General idea:

Charts & tables showing metrics
Metrics that give insight into the responsiveness and accessibility of the project to contributors
Metrics that give insight into the productivity of the maintainers and the size of the backlog

General implementation idea:

Daily workflow that calculates metrics and generates charts and tables and pushes to a parallel branch in the main repo
Simple dashboard page somewhere (on the wiki or on-branch markdown file)
